[TRAILER] - Italian Thriller The Guest Room Comes to US VoD

Italian filmmakers know how to send chills up any cinema goer's spine spine. Following in the footsteps of the great maestros of chilling cinema, director Stefano Lodovichi's tense thriller 'The Guest Room' ('La Stanza') looks set to have you on the edge of your seat this Halloween.  Having premiered  at the Berlin International Film Festival, the UK's Grimmfest, and Poland at the Splat!FilmFest Horror Film Festival 'The Guest Room ' heads to the living rooms of North America through VOD from 25th October.

On the morning Stella decides to take her own life, Giulio, a stranger knocks at her door claiming the guest room he booked for the night. Surprised yet charmed by her guest who seems to know her very well, Stella decides to let him take occupancy of his room. The arrival of Sandro, Stella's ex lover who broke her heart, makes things more uncomfortable. The situation goes from awkward to disturbing as Giulio starts unveiling all the couple's secrets. Who is Giulio? And what are Stella and Sandro hiding?

The Guest Room (La Stanza) is the latest feature from Lodovichi, following his debut in 2013 with 'Aquadro' and his follow up feature 'Deep in the Wood'. 'The Guest Room' stars Guido Caprino ("Il commissario Manara", "That Dirty Black Bag"), Camilla Filippi ("The Trial", The Big Step), and Edoardo Pesce (Dogman, Non sono un assassino) as this unlikely trio on the edge of chaos in an isolated house. Lodovichi directed and developed the story, which was turned into a screenplay by Francesco Agostini and Filippo Gili. Distributed by Red Water Entertainment will be available on a number of digital and cable platforms, including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, iNDemand and DISH. Check out the trailer below.
